It all started in November 2011 when my father impulsively waved his hand in the air at the Stanley Park property auction and jokingly offered his highest bid. No one outbid him! Originally he thought it would be a great family business to set up the beautiful homestead as a boutique hotel, then a few months later we accidentally did our first wedding – a friend asked if she and her partner could exchange vows under the big fig tree. The photos went viral and the wedding enquiries started flying in! Initially we were doing marquee weddings, and now 10+ years later we’ve built our spacious American style barn for receptions and a super cool multi-purpose pavilion. We have lots of lovely weddings under our belt now with loads more to come!
Stanley Park, dating back to the 1890s, is a boutique wedding venue, owned and operated by a local Newcastle family. Our style is personal – from meet and greet through to helping you plan your wedding and then assisting on the day. Such a special venue 😍
We recently got married here and to say it was the perfect place is an understatement. So convenient to be able to have both our ceremony and reception at the one place. Our guests loved it so much and can’t stop raving about the day! Even though it had only stopped raining a couple hours before our ceremony the venue provided the perfect location for our photos. Jas the venue coordinator was an absolute delight to deal with leading up to and on the day. She had everything sorted and made me feel so at ease. Highly recommend!
