It was like, totally prom night at this year’s 2025 Sassies, and the Newcastle & Hunter wedding industry brought all the sparkle, sass and sequins. Think corsages pinned awkwardly (but cutely), glittery crowns perched on hairsprayed up-dos, and the kind of slow dances that made you feel like you were back in the school hall—except this time, the punch was spiked and the outfits were seriously next-level.
Our vendors ditched their usual wedding-day black for bold suits, prom dresses, and the occasional ruffled sleeve that could double as a parachute. The photo booth was full of awkward-but-iconic poses (yes, we’re looking at you finger-guns-and-peace-sign combo), while the dancefloor had big prom finale energy.
