Eligibility varies depending on the award category. Most categories are open to individuals, businesses, organisations that work in the category field and do the majority of their work in the Hunter region,
How do I nominate someone?
Simply complete the online nomination form.
Is there a cost to submit a nomination?
No. Nominations for the 2026 Sassies are free.
Can I nominate myself or my business?
Yes. We encourage it.
When do nominations close?
The closing date for nominations are July 24.
How are winners selected?
Winners are selected by public vote. After nominations close a public vote will take place between 1 August and 14 August 2026.
When will finalists be announced?
